A lot of news!
This morning when I did my chores I got a lot of news! Enjoy!

Charlie after his bath
After charlies bath (see page above) He got really cute and fluffy! Here are some pictures of him drinking his breakfast. Oh! And I got some blur free pictures of him too! Enjoy!

He is hungry this morning!

I cant get enough of how cute he is!

A tiny bit of blur on him sorry!

Thanks for looking at his cute pictures! Now lets see the rest of the news for today!

A chicken roundup!
Ok here is a funny and confusing story. It starts with my dad telling me to put all the chickens in their pen so they don't lay  eggs in the pen and so they don't make a mess on the porch,  So I got a scoop of scratch (seeds)...

A scoop of seeds
Then I called the chickens in the pen and only some came so I threw some of the seeds out in the pen and they still didn't come! So I tried something different...

A scoop of dog
food! (They love it!)

So I threw some dog food out in the pen and they still didn't come! So there was only one more thing to do. I tried to catch them all and put them in with my hands! of course it didn't work so I just got some bread and threw it in and they all came in the pen! A job well done...

A odd thing in the chicken coop...
This morning when I went in the chicken coop to collect the eggs I saw A hen! Try to laugh this time...
A hen sitting on a shovel! XD

A goat make over!
That's right! Little Charlie had a make over today! The story starts with a bunch of mud on Charlie's body and stuck in his fluffy hair. My dad told me to give him a bath! I was so exited that I had in the warm tub in five minutes! Of course he hated it, What goat doesn't hate taking baths? Anyway I kinda did more than give him a bath, I dried his hair with my moms hair dryer and made his fur puff up like a fluffy ball and tied a cute little ribbon around his neck and he looked so cute! Here are some pictures of him. Enjoy!

So sorry about the blur he would not stay still!

He is so cute!!!
Here is a little bit of his cute little face!

Sorry about the blur he would not stay still! Any way hope you liked the cute pictures of him and see you next time!

Escape artist on the farm!
We have an escape artist on the farm! guess who it is? Yep! it is charlie the one month old baby goat! every time I leave the barn he slips out of the bar gate and stays in the barn until I get to the house and then he comes down and stands at the door and cries for us to come out of the house! I put a bucket where he gets out but he still manages to get out. One night he spent the night on our porch and cried in the morning for milk! I tried and tried and tried to stop him but he still gets out!
I will put more on when I find a way to keep him in. Anyway, here is the rest of the news for today! Enjoy :)

    A turkey attack.
Today when I was doing my chores a saw the turkeys running toward me so I  threw some seeds out to make them go there and they didn't go want to go any where and they were pecking at my boot and I couldn't get away so I really quickly ran away before they could peck me again.

Wonderful times in the pasture

A few days ago I went up to the barn to feed charlie and the pasture looked so beautiful I had to stay for a visit, so I finished feeding charlie, (the milk monster) and I went to the pasture to play. I found myself staying in the field for hours having a great time throwing the ball for samson and racing with him and lying in the nice cool grass looking at the clouds and watching the sunset. I named my nice little time in the pasture "sunny pastures" I hope to do it every day on the farm.

Thanks for reading the daily farm news! :)

A fun trip to Colorado Springs!
Out of all the trips I have been on, I think that this one was the funnest!
My Dad and I went to Colorado Springs to pick up some gardening stuff and to see my aunt, uncle and cousins. Here are some pictures of our trip, I hope you enjoy them!

Going over the icy pass

The wind was blowing the snow so it was hard to see.

There was less than an inch of snow, so it was not that bad.

Her are some picture of the other cool things that I saw... Enjoy! :)

A big cloud of fog coming from a factory.

The cliff on the pass. It is a long way down!

In the tunnel. Sorry about the blur.
That was the trip to Colorado Springs, I hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures!  :)

 A new baby goat!
Meet Charlie, our new, sweet, loving baby goat! We got Charlie about a week ago from a dairy lady and I get to feed him from a bottle! He is adorable when he drinks! Anyway enough of that, lets get to the pictures. I took some pictures of him on his first day of snow! He seemed a little confused but when he figured out that the snow was not going to hurt him he started to play in it, here are some pictures of  him in the snow. Enjoy! :D

Charlie playing in the snow.

He is so cute when he runs!

Charlie on his first snow day.

Charlie enjoying the snow day! :)

There's Charlie! He was so scared of the snow at first, but now he does not seem to care about it! I think he will be a excellent pack goat when he grows up, He has been with the other goats but Samson the guard dog tried to bite him so we are keeping him in a kennel in the house. I hope you enjoyed looking at this little guy! Now lets get to the news for today, here it is!

Let it snow!
This morning when I woke up I noticed the ground was covered with a white coat of snow! I am not too happy because I was looking forward to a sunny warm day!

The daily egg report.
We got 18 eggs today! there was two of them in the nest boxes and the rest was in the garage. Again the hens missed the nest box!

A cold night outside in the snow.
Rocky, our goat got on the other side of the electric fence and spend the night outside! My dad found him out in the morning and we dried him off with a towel and put him back in the barn and I don't think he wants to spend another night outside again!

Chicken tracks
When I went outside in the morning I saw chicken tracks and I was curious  to see where our hens go in the day! The tracks led me to a little pile of grain in the chicken coop! :D

Thank you for reading the daily news! :)

A new swimming pool! :D
A few days ago, our good friends came over and had a quick visit.  My friends and I found a new swimming pool! It only went up to our hips, so it wasn't that deep. We loved splashing in it and getting wet because it was a very hot day until we got out of the pond and then it was freezing!

We got maybe a gallon or a little less. Anyway, here is the rest of the news for Today. Enjoy!

The daily egg report.
Today we got 14 eggs total! Again most of them were on the ground but at we have a lot of eggs!

A green house!
When we were out of town we got a green house to plant vegetables
and a bunch of flowers in! Our green house is not put up yet but soon it will be! We got all sorts of flowers and veggies, such as corn, lettuce, and tomato's and a bunch of good veggies to plant in the green house. The green house is a good size, it is about the size of two cars together.

All the snow is gone and grass is here!
When I was doing my farm chores this morning I noticed that there was no more snow! We have a bunch of grass and the fields look very green. Finally spring is here and the sun is out and it is warm and beautiful. The birds are out singing and life on the farm is relaxing.

A goat trade
As the title says, we traded goats with our good friends the Kikers. We got Snowbell, and her two kids, Chewy and Mocha. Our friends got Wilma and her kids, Floppy and Daisy. We traded because our friends got a puppy named Teddy and Snowbell was being mean to him so we took Snowbell and gave them Wilma, a nicer goat that is nice to Teddy. Snowbell is doing great! We owned her before we sold her to our friends. She and her baby's are fitting in great! Cookie Doe, the mother of Snowbell is enjoying her time with her. The kids are all playing together and all is well!

A new pack goat!
Today my dad said that Luke, the pack goat could fit in the pack saddle. I didn't think he would but he did! He could use a few more inches of growth, but for now he will fit in it. I picked him out a little black halter and walked him around a little and he followed me like a good horse. I walked him down in the pasture and he did every thing I wanted him to do! Betty, my other pack goat is not pack-able because of her kids. She was a good pack goat also but she pulled on the rope sometimes and Luke doesn't. Here are a few photos of him and me in the alfalfa field.

Thanks for looking at them! I will get more on here as soon as I can, thanks, Jordan

Good news! :D
Very good news! My dad (the best dad in the world) bought me a camera! It records and the other one doesn't so now I can put videos on here! yay!!! I just recorded a video of one of the chores I have to do (round up the goats) I have to put them back in their pen every night. I thought it would be nice if I shared a video with you. Enjoy!

Well ,here is the video. It took a long time to get all the goats down to the lower pasture so they could          eat the grass down there.  Any way, I hope you enjoyed the video, I will put some more videos on here as soon as I can. Thanks for watching!

Milking the goats
This morning my dad took me up to the barn to milk with him and I brought the camera to show you how we milk. Betty and Cookie Doe are the best milk goats we had ever had, Wilma,a goat we will start milking soon when we do something with all the other milk we have. Anyway, here are the pictures I took of me and my dad milking the goats, Enjoy!:)
Here is Cookie Doe up and ready to get milked!

Here is Betty, she cant wait to eat all her oats!
First we wipe the udder so dirt wont fall into the milk bucket.

...Then we sanitize our hands so we don't get germs on her and make her sick.

Then we milk some milk into a cup (this is called a strip cup). and make sure there is no clumps in it

Now it is time to milk cookie doe!
Now Betty needs milked also.

Now we spray fight bac on her so she doesn't get a disease .
Now Cookie Doe needs to get sprayed. p.s. the thing around her legs are hobbles to keep her from putting her foot in the milk bucket.
Now we cool the milk down and filter it into jars and enjoy a big glass of healthy goat milk!
